Although the bulbs in the illuminated magnifiers do last a long time eventually they will burn out. When that time comes it is sometimes difficult to locate these specialty bulbs at your local hardware store. For that reason we strongly suggest that when you purchase an illuminated magnifier you also purchase a package of two replacement bulbs. That way you will have them handy when you need them and avoid paying the shipping charges if you had to order them at a later time.
