The Whitman Tribute Edition Coin Boards are a commemorative reissue in the classic style of coin boards made by Whitman Publishing starting in the 1930s. Before that, collectors had few options (beyond expensive albums and cabinets) for storing their coins.
With these boards, coin collecting grew into a popular hobby for the whole family. Eventually they developed into the best-selling line of Whitman "blue folders" still used by millions of collectors today.
The boards measure 11" wide x 14" high and they are available for the Lincoln cent series from 1909 to 1958 and the Buffalo nickel series from 1913 to 1938.
Lincoln Cent Boards
The boards for the Lincoln cent is a two board set. Both boards have 90 openings. Volume one starts at 1909 and ends at 1940, volume two picks up at 1941 and ends at 1958. The boards have openings for all mints, Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.Buffalo Nickel Board
